🎄 South Tyler Rotary Christmas Party – Let’s Celebrate Together! 🎄

It’s time to gather, celebrate, and enjoy the holiday season with your Rotary family!

🗓 When: Tuesday, December 17th, from 7 PM to 10 PM
📍 Where: The home of Clint and Brandie Henderson
6113 Sutherland Dr., Tyler, TX

Festivities Include:
✨ Dress as festive as you wish!
🎁 Participate in a fun Christmas ornament exchange! Bring a wrapped ornament valued at $10 or less to swap.
🍽 Delicious food will be provided—no need to bring anything. Just donate a minimum of $10 per person to help cover food costs.
🥂 Bring your beverage of choice to enjoy.

Please RSVP by Sunday, December 15th to ensure we have plenty of food for everyone. If you’ve already signed up at a meeting, no need to RSVP again.

Spreading Holiday Cheer Through Giving Back

The holiday season is a time of joy, reflection, and giving back to our community. Last week, South Tyler Rotary Club, along with our fellow Rotarians from the other two Tyler clubs, brought smiles and festive spirit to our city with the Tyler Christmas Parade. The event was a resounding success, showcasing the magic of collaboration and service. From the dazzling floats to the cheerful spectators lining the streets, the parade was truly a wonderful gift to our community. Thank you to everyone who participated and supported this festive celebration! 🎄

As we move further into the holiday season, there are countless ways we can continue spreading the Rotary spirit of service above self:

1. Support Local Food Banks
   Many families in our area face food insecurity during the holidays. Consider organizing a canned food drive or volunteering at local food banks to help those in need.

2. Adopt a Family or Child (Angel Tree)
   Partner with local organizations to provide gifts, clothing, or essentials to families or children who could use extra cheer this season.

3. Volunteer at a Shelter
   Homeless shelters and women’s shelters often need extra hands during the holidays. Serving a warm meal or donating winter essentials can make a huge difference.

4. Visit Seniors
   Brighten someone’s day by visiting residents in nursing homes or assisted living facilities. A warm smile, a small gift, or simply your company can bring immense joy.

5. Participate in Rotary Projects
   Keep an eye out for upcoming service projects organized by our club. Together, we can make an even greater impact on our community.
