STR Meetings Tentatively Set to Resume June 15!
The STR board met last week and developed a proposed plan to RESTART STR meetings at First Christian Church. The developed plan includes steps to ensure proper social distancing, member safety, checking in, meals, and clean up. Former DG/STR member Tom DeWitt is working with the FCC Operations Team to gain approval to try a RESTART of STR meetings on Monday, June 15. The initial STR meetings are scheduled to be conducted in the FCC gym.
Assuming FCC approval and no changes in regulations from local and state regulatory agencies, the STR meetings will resume June 15!

PAUL HARRIS MATCH STATUS
Tom DeWitt
As of May 25, South Tyler Rotary members have contributed $2,162.00 during the first 25 days of the match program. There are a few days left in the program and I would love to see us hit $5,000, including a number of new Paul Harris Fellowships. Remember, you can give to Polio+ (and have your gift matched 2 for 1 by the Gates Foundation) or the Annual Fund (this is where our District Matching funds come from.)
You can go online to make your donations or send a check made payable to The Rotary Foundation to my address, 1467 Old Creek Dr., Tyler, TX 75703. And remember, the match is based on donations of $100 or more. Some of you who make direct payments will actually have two deposits that count, so even if your monthly gift is under $100, the combination may hit the mark and you will get credit and match. If you have any questions, contact me: thdewitt@msn.com or 903-730-0600.
