Thank you to the following Rotarians for attending our first condensed Rotary orientation:  Neal Franklin, Mary Ann Blair, Beth Blaisdell, Carol Conover, Art Mullan & Amanda Folmar.  And a big kudos to Lee Montgomery & Tom DeWitt for leading the orientation.  Talk about two Rotarians that know everything about Rotary!

 

Also, a big thanks to Bill Coats for taking care of speakers for the month of August and to John Hart for lining up speakers for September and part of October.  You two guys are making me look good, and the programs have been great.

 

Alan Brown has agreed to help me with the Spaghetti Supper grants this year.  Thank you, Alan.  I will have more information about that at Monday's meeting. 

 

Marla Boren is doing a great job overseeing the Red Badge program.  Rotarians that are working through that program are (I think):  Ben Woody, Greg Parker, Beth Blaisdell, Neal Franklin, & Mary Ann Blair.  Forgive me if I have inadvertently omitted anyone.  I will be calling on these guys to give the invocation, introduce guests and lead the 4 way test, so you can get those items checked off. 

 

And finally, but by no means last, President elect, Amanda Folmar is looking for volunteers for the Nov. 30 Christmas parade.  Be sure and mark your calendars for that day and let Amanda know that you are available to help.
