Sharelunker #9. Yes, the perform DNA testing to trace all the Sharelunkers and how they are related. As the Director mentioned, 13 lbs is heavier than
the State Records of 26 other States!

ShareLunker #9 was a significant fish in the Texas ShareLunker program, weighing 16.13 pounds. It was caught by Troy Johnson at Gibbons Creek Reservoir on January 15, 1988.
This bass holds the water-body record for Gibbons Creek Reservoir. ShareLunker #9 played an important role in the program's selective breeding efforts, being paired with a male broodfish in 1988. This pairing produced a male offspring that was kept in the hatchery system and later used for further breeding. The lineage of ShareLunker #9 includes five Legacy Class Lunkers, demonstrating its impact on the program's success.
