Thank you, Dr. Jordan G. Stanley, M.D. for the useful and timely information regarding robotic knee replacement surgeries. Judging from the number of questions, this topic is on the minds of several of our club members.  You definitely gave us news we can use.
This is the week our District Governor Jim Finstrom and his wife Tricia make their official visit to Longview Greggton.  It’s important that we have better than average attendance. Dig out your Rotary pins from the drawer and wear them and your name badge and invite a friend.
Thanks to everyone who attended today’s Board meeting. In addition to the usual business, another proposed member was approved, so that person’s name will be read to the Club Friday. We also revisited the Club’s Visioning Plan, and will be inviting input soon.
This Saturday is TRASH PICK UP along Fairmont Street. Meet us at 8:00 am in the Pine Tree High School parking lot. The new Pine Tree Interact Club will be there, and we want to get to know one another.  It should be a glorious morning in the 70’s.
Also on Saturday morning, Longview PRCA Rodeo Chicks N Chaps Chairman DONNA KOERNER will be presenting $3500.00 to the Texas Oncology Foundation. These monies go to cancer warriors to help supplement living expenses while they undergo treatment. The money came from sponsorships and a raffle.  Come celebrate this good work and support Donna at 9:00 am at the Texas Oncology Center on Fourth Street.
Congratulations to District Governor Nominee Designate Carolyn Franks as she celebrates her selection as District Governor for 2022-2023. Carolyn is a native of Pittsburg, Texas and a member of the Pittsburg Rotary Club. Go to our District website for more information on Carolyn and other activities around our Rotary District 5830.
Cooler days are coming.
