Rotarians,
I hope everyone is having a good week. I think as this Rotary year comes to a close, my emails are getting shorter – or maybe not. We will induct the 2019-2020 board at our meeting next week.
We have a board meeting at noon Monday at the City of Longview Development Services office, 410 S. High Street, if you would like to attend. We have some year-end business to address, so this one could run a little long.
In case you haven’t seen, club member Merritt Grimm and his wife, Brittany, welcomed daughter Ella Rose into the world this week. Congratulations to them!
If you haven’t paid your dues for the next six months, please get those paid by the 25th. We still have a lot of members who have not paid.
It is Jim Roberts’ week to lead us (or find others to) in the song, Pledge, prayer and 4-Way Test, and it’s Craig Strohsahl’s week to provide the prize for Rusty’s Raffle.
Our program this week is club member state Rep. Jay Dean talking about the recently convened legislative session. It’s always an interesting and educational program. I’ll see you there.
