We are still early in our Membership Football game, but there is a clear winner at this stage. The Yellow team is mopping the floor with the rest of you. Here’s the rundown:

I mentioned during last week’s meeting that we’d had an encouraging increase at last week’s meeting of the Interact Club. Tim Lewis has been working on reinvigorating the club. To help with that, we’d like to get some Rotarians at the next meeting. It will be at 4 p.m. on this coming Tuesday, Sept. 25, in room 706 of the Pine Tree ExCEL building.
Remember, the District Conference is Oct. 19 and 20. It’s the same weekend as our fundraising concert featuring Amy Grant. I’d like to have a good showing from our club at the conference since it’s here in Longview. Let me know if you can make it.
At Friday’s meeting, we’ll hear from Judge Alfonso Charles. He’ll be speaking about the U.S. Constitution.
It is Pastor Russ Brown’s week to lead us in the song/pledge/prayer and 4-Way Test, and it’s John Harris’ week to provide the prize for Rusty’s Raffle.
The menu this week is baked chicken, roasted potatoes and Brussels sprouts.
