It’s been nice to have this sunshine the past few days.
Welcome to the club Rusty Fennell, Jim Roberts and Jeff Thomas! We inducted three new members to the club this past week, and they’re sure to be incredible assets to what we do and how we give back to this community.

I’m looking forward to getting to know them better, and I know everyone will make them feel welcome and help get them plugged in and engaged.
Our Police and Fire Golf Tournament is coming up Monday at Wood Hollow. Charles Rader says he’s set on hole sponsors, but he can still use door prizes. Please get with him if you can help, and feel free to come by the tournament.
If you would like to help support our club at the East Texas Literacy Council Bee for Literacy on June 5, we have two spots left. Let Laura Hill or me know.
As many of you know, Service Chair Tyler Rainer’s mother, Sheila, passed away this past week. Please keep him and family in your prayers. Services are set for Saturday at First Baptist Church in Longview. Visitation is from 8:30 to 10 a.m. with the service beginning at 10 a.m.
Our program this week is Wayne Conn with the Christus Good Shepherd Sleep Center. See you there.
