Good afternoon, Rotarians,

I hope you’re having a good week.

This is my second to last weekly email to the club with only three meetings left in this Rotary year. Whether you’re relieved or saddened by that thought, prepare yourself!

As we are near the end of the Rotary year, please get those dues paid by June 25th. Laura sent a recent reminder, and I’ll emphasize what she said. Also, thanks to those members who have already done so.

I hope those who attended the social meeting last week at Papacita’s enjoyed it. It was fun for me to hear from Karen about her trip to Europe for the Rotary International Convention and Jim Bartlett’s recent trip to Las Vegas. We are back at the Hilton this week.

It is Gary Steffey’s week to bring the prize for Rusty’s Raffle, and it’s Charles Rader’s week to get us lined out for the song, Pledge, prayer and 4-Way Test.

Merritt Grimm asked me to share with the club about the Drive to Inspire golf challenge Friday at Wood Hollow. It’s a fundraiser for Partners in Prevention’s Forever Friends and CoPilots mentoring groups. Partners in Prevention has been a recipient of funds raised by our club in the past and is one of the designed recipients of funds from this year’s rodeo. We also have several members in the club who are mentors in the program. A flier is attached with more information.

At our meeting this Friday, we’ll hear from Jim Hurst.

I’ll see you there.

In service,
Scott
