Aaron announced the winners of the first three grants under our new grant program for community service organizations. Grants of $1,500 were awarded to:
1. BU Foundation "The Locker Room 345" project
2. Mothers and Babies Perinatal Network
3. Vestal High School Interact Food Pantry
St. Pats Raffle-
The raffle is scheduled for March 19th, and George distributed tickets via mail before the holidays so that members can begin selling. Members received the number that they sold last year or a minimum of 5 tickets. Please hit up all your friends and relatives during this season of giving! Tickets and monies are being collected by George.

Annual Vestal Rotary Foundation Food drive-
Our annual food drive is under way! This year, as last, we will be collecting monetary donations rather than cans. Please send in your donations right away, payable to the Vestal Rotary Foundation, or use pay pal. We also need Rotarians to distribute gift cards, hams and shoes to needy families, at the Vestal Town Water Barn on December 15th, 5:00pm-8:00 pm. Please sign up online to help.
Coats for Kids-
Rob F. announced will be able to do our Coats for Kids again this year on Thursday Dec. 30th. We will take 25 elementary kids from Vestal schools shopping for needed shoes and clothing at Kohl's with lunch to follow at Outback Steakhouse. We spend about $125. per child. We will meet at Kohl's at 10:00AM on Thursday Dec 30th. This is our most rewarding project, so please make every effort to assist. Rob has the signup list so please contact him if you will attend- we need at least 20 people, and spouses are encouraged to assist.
Ringing the Bell-
The club participated in a day of Ringing the Bell at the red kettle of the Salvation Army at Vestal Walmart this past Saturday, Dec 4th. Thanks to all who gave of their time.

Ethan inducted our 35th member Josh Enfield. Josh is employed by Riley Maintenance Systems and he coaches JV Basketball at Maine Endwell. His mother was a former Vestal Rotarian. Welcome Josh!
Christmas Party-
We decided to hold our annual Christmas gathering post- holidays, since so much is going on. Jim Ward has arranged for a party 6:00 pm January 15th at Remliks. Watch for more info and the signup!
