Announcements:
Speaker-
Candace Gregory, 211 (Post Covid)
Activated March 2020 by the County, they became the main resource for assistance during the pandemic (masks, food, evictions, testing, vaccines, assistance for people who couldn't leave home). At the peak they were fielding 800 calls per day. They served as a conduit between the needs of the community and the service providers, government assistance and volunteers. The positive outcome of this has been the partnerships and collaborations that they have built, with the county government as well as other organizations such as The Foodbank of the Southern Tier. The team is learning something new every day

Next Board Meeting is March 9th - Location, TBD

St. Pats Raffle-
Please return tickets to George via the US Mail service.  Checks should be payable to Vestal Rotary.  It would be very helpful if you could deposit any cash and write a check.  If you cannot, please contact George before you leave any cash at his house as he will be on vacation.

There have been many questions about this year’s format.  There will be a party.  It is a cocktail party with lots of hors-d’oeuvers, not a sit-down dinner.  We will be at the Farmer’s Market on Upper Front Street with lots of room, so please encourage your guests to join us!  Baskets with be done by a “ticket auction”.  (Buy your tickets and put them into the container of the basket you hope to win).  We are responsible for set up and clean up we will need all members to assist.

Valentine's Day Party-
Jim Ward has arranged for a party 6:00 pm-9:00 pm February 15th at Kampai.  Please RSVP online via the invitation link, please decline if you are not able to attend (or reach out to Jim Directly)!  The cost is 45.00 per person.  Don't miss out on this tradition (we finally get to enjoy again) with your fellow Rotarians.

Calling all members-
  • The club needs a new historian now and a new treasurer beginning July 1st.  Please contact Bill if you are willing to assist.
