Candace Gregory, 211 (Post Covid)
Activated March 2020 by the County, they became the main resource for assistance during the pandemic (masks, food, evictions, testing, vaccines, assistance for people who couldn't leave home). At the peak they were fielding 800 calls per day. They served as a conduit between the needs of the community and the service providers, government assistance and volunteers. The positive outcome of this has been the partnerships and collaborations that they have built, with the county government as well as other organizations such as The Foodbank of the Southern Tier. The team is learning something new every day
Next Board Meeting is March 9th - Location, TBD

There have been many questions about this year’s format. There will be a party. It is a cocktail party with lots of hors-d’oeuvers, not a sit-down dinner. We will be at the Farmer’s Market on Upper Front Street with lots of room, so please encourage your guests to join us! Baskets with be done by a “ticket auction”. (Buy your tickets and put them into the container of the basket you hope to win). We are responsible for set up and clean up we will need all members to assist.
Recurring meeting Tuesday nights at 6:30 via Zoom, which will not run over 30 minutes to be respectful of everyone’s time. All are welcome, please jump on to hear what’s happening and how to help:
