50/50 - $22 was won by Steve Miller “Jr” this week!
Fines - I actaully took note of he fines as we raised a total of $151 for the club this week! Steve made the bold move, setting a presesence, and donated his 50/50 winnings back tot he club! Aaron was just back from a trip to NOLA - even had a bit of a sun burn. James G was happy to report that his son has been accpeted to LeMoyne. Jim W made a surprise accusation against ME for stealing his favorite scarf over the weekend. She set the record straight and made a bold rebuttal about her “daughter/LV purse", Isabella being taken advantage of by him. Candy was happy to report being back from her trip to Florida visiting with her NEW Grand baby! Siobhan paid a Birthday fine and Nate kicked in to THANK all that join him at the Binghamton Club for 1st Friday! A good time was had by all!
Our speaker was Russ Swanger, founder of Puzzled Players Comedy Improve Theater and Training Center of Greater Binghamton. He was quite entertaining and shaed his unique approach to live with us. It centered around a practice of using YES, AND… rather than YES, BUT in our interactions both personal and in business. We each paired off and practiced - it was an entertaining demonstration.
The remainder of the meeting was used to be sure we were all prepared for what was to come the following weekend - our Annual St Patrick's Day fund raiser. At this point (I'm a little behind on my composing and sending out the Vigilant), you have all received an update from Nate related to a high level overview of what was deemed a SUCCESS, again this year! More will be in the next version of this newsletter after this coming Monday's meeting, I'm sure.
