Announcements:
Speaker-
No speaker today due to a conflict with the speaker's schedule. John Shaffer will be rescheduled.
Community Service-
Aaron M. spoke about the Riverbank cleanup held Oct 16th, and we had 10 people attending, including 6 Rotarians and family members. The club is going to try to do more of these small projects and members are encouraged to attend to build camaraderie and fulfill the avenue of service.
Aaron mentioned that we are unable to attend the monthly Willow Point Wine and Cheese parties in person ( due to COVID)- but that the club is planning various projects at the home. We sent pizzas to their Halloween party and will be writing personal notes to residents this month.
The club is launching a new grant program for community service organizations. Vestal Rotarians will be able to nominate non- profit groups who serve Vestal residents. An email outlining the details of the program and the nomination form was sent last week. Grants of $1,500 will be voted on by the Community Service Committee.
St. Pats Raffle-
The raffle is scheduled for March 19th, and we will be distributing tickets before the holidays so that members can begin selling. The committee, headed by Vince, will be finalizing what we are doing soon, since we have an opportunity to change what we have done in the past due to the new location and cocktail party format rather than dinner.

Next board meeting is Nov 16th, 7:00 pm at George S. home.
Two new members have been approved:

Why did the cranberries turn red? Because they saw the turkey dressing!
Quote of the Week
"Gratitude is the inward feeling of kindness received.
Thankfulness is the natural impulse to express that feeling.
Thanksgiving is the following of that impulse."
