Candy paid her winnings from the 50/50 back to the club!Art was happy that he got to spend his son’s 30th birthday with him.Andy was happy to report a good outcome from the DSGO and he also was happy that Nate accomplished 2 years as our Vestal Rotary club President!Aaron was also happy that both Andy & George did such a GREAT job with the DSGO again this year.Siobhan was happy with the DSGO shift work and that NATE is now able to be fined as it’s his last meeting as our President!Nate was VERY HAPPY – both with the outcome of our work at the DSGO and the end of his Presidency!

The new 2026-2027 calendar for the club meeting is now available on Club Runner.Art will be seeking volunteers to get speakers for each month - it’s simply 2 speakers as we meet every other week.Look for the email he is sending out to ask for your help.
The Board met last week and approved 2 more grants from our club – Meals on Wheels and Life Choice each will be receiving $1500 from our club grants available!
Rotary International Foundation update given – asking for anyone that has yet to make this year’s contribution to review your email for an email from Danielle that carries a link directly to make your contribution.In addition, if you look at your app for Club Runner, there is a place that you can click to make a contribution right from there!

Matt Lewis from Binghamton Police Department speaking about the Binghamton Police Athletic League here locally.PAL Camp has been around since the 1950’s.Matt took on the responsibility a few years back and has made it a labor of love!With just a $90K budget, they provide a FREE summer day camp that serves 5-13 year old boys & girls.They accept applicants from all areas however bus pick up/drop off is ONLY offered in the City of Binghamton. Breakfast, lunch, milk & snacks are provided and the kids need to bring their own towels & bathing suits for their time at the camp! They serve approximately 100 kids each week for 5 weeks starting July 6th and ending August 7thand are full up for the 2026 Summer sessions!What a GREAT opportunity for kids!!!
