Jeannie Post of the Trailside Inn was our speaker on Dec 20th. She spoke about the new owners of the Inn and the remodeling project to return the Inn to a restaurant and special event center. They added a new patio and surrounding fence- to be able to have outside seating. There will be 4 guest rooms. The new owners and staff are all former Traditions employees. Remodeling during the pandemic has been a challenge with supply chain issues and the opening has been postponed a few times. They are shooting for a February opening. They will be open for lunch during the week and dinner Sun-Friday. Saturdays are reserved for weddings and special events. They have a max capacity of 110, but also have smaller private rooms available.
Coats for Kids was held at Kohl's on Dec 30th. Rob F. thanks all Rotarians and their families who participated. We helped 21 kids shop in person that day, and purchased gift cards for another 4 children who could not make it. After shopping, the kids were able to pick up box lunches from Outback Steakhouse, in lieu of our normal in-person lunch-due to Covid. A great time was had by all.

I was going to advise you all to quit all your bad habits for the New Year....but then I remembered that nobody likes a quitter!!!!
