Last meeting we formally recognized those remaining organizations that have been awarded grants through our Vestal Rotary Club Community Grant Program. !

Each grant is $1,500 and there are four organizations that were nominated by members of our Club. Awardees are:

Salvation Army
Vestal EMS
Kopernik
Johnson City Senior Center

In attendance were Kim Robinson from the Senior Center, Drew Drescher from Kopenik, and Joe Harrison from the Salvation Army. All were grateful for the donation and told us a little about their programs.

Please sign up for volunteer slots via George's e-mail! Each Rotarian needs to sign up for 2 sessions.

We will have a spot closer to the concert on Friday night. This is when we will need largest group of volunteers in 2 shifts:

4:00 – 7:30 and 7:00-10:30

Saturday and Sunday we will have a tent on 18; we are committed 10:00-6:00.

'22-'23 Speaker Schedule:

- Speakers are set through July; Art has requested that every Rotarian chose a month or date and find an speaker for a meeting. He has a list and will be circulating dates. He is going to work on bringing back google sheets to share the information.

Aaron was happy to attrnd a Garth Brooks concert

Siobhan got to go to an Elton John concert and will be travelling to Taos New Mexico to drop off her daughter who will be working there for a gap year

Vince had a wonderful vacation in Charleston

George is happy his son and family are visiting from Fla.
