Cortland  Rotary Howl at the Moon 5K Race

The Rotary Club of Cortland will be hosting the 17th annual Howl at the Moon 5K Night Race, returning to its original Night Flight Race format on Saturday, June 3, 2017. The event will take place at Lakeview High School, 300 Hillman Drive, Cortland, Ohio in conjunction with the Rotary Club, the school, and our sponsors. The 5K will start at 9 PM with an awards ceremony, door prizes, food, and entertainment following.

Proceeds from this annual event will benefit the various community projects for which the Rotary Club of Cortland provides much needed funding.  Examples of Cortland Rotary past contributions are: College scholarships to Lakeview High School Seniors, Annual Easter Egg Hunt, Annual Visit from Santa Clause, Boy Scouts (Eagle Project), Trumbull Art Gallery, The Splash Pad at Pearl Par, Cortland Area Cares (CAC); Rotary Park; Rotary Youth Exchange Students; Warren Family Mission, Someplace Safe, LOAF,  and many more community projects.
