The Rotary Club of Cortland will be hosting the 17th annual Howl at the Moon 5K Night Race, returning to its original Night Flight Race format on Saturday, June 3, 2017. The event will take place at Lakeview High School, 300 Hillman Drive, Cortland, Ohio in conjunction with the Rotary Club, the school, and our sponsors. The 5K will start at 9 PM with an awards ceremony, door prizes, food, and entertainment following. Proceeds from this annual event will benefit the various community projects for which the Rotary Club of Cortland provides much needed funding. Examples of Cortland Rotary past contributions are: College scholarships to Lakeview High School Seniors, funds for Lakeview Booster Clubs, Cortland Area Cares (CAC); Rotary Park; Imagination Station; Trumbull County Orthopedic Equipment Fund; Camelot Riding Center; Warren Family Mission and many more community projects. |

Our guest will be Daniel Moore. He is the individual that Mark Zuckerberg (creator of Facebook) visited recently. Here is his bio:
Daniel Moore is a patriotic, USAF Cold War veteran, humanitarian, Independent political activist, USW union member, blue collar steelworker and a creative, innovative solution oriented problem solver and social entrepreneur.
He has some college education in economics and business. Mr. Moore has received a large amount of media attention due to his volunteer work for the Trump campaign and his April 28, 2017 dinner and conversation with billionaire philanthropist Mark Zuckerberg and his staff in his Newton Falls, Ohio home. He is an advocate for nuclear disarmament and encourages world leaders and his fellow citizens to move beyond traditional ways of thinking to help solve our monumental problems in a timely manner. Daniel is a critic of Keynesian economic theories along with a growing number of supporters who are demanding systemic change and bold, daring, new ideas and revolutionary micro and macro economic initiatives. |

Trooper Ramps has over 17 years of dedicated service to the organization, where he specializes in North American Standards, Technical Crash Investigations, Auto Larceny, and Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration Criminal Interdiction training. |
