Rotary contributions
As we approach the culmination of the Rotary Year, District Rotary Foundation chair Tom Stites urges every Rotarian to contribute to The Rotary Foundation.
"The Rotary year is nearing its end, and we want to finish the year strong, as we have done in past years," Sites said. "Raising money (will) improve the lives of others in our communities, our Rotary district, our country and the world. Your contributions make a difference."
Why give to Rotary? There are a multitude of funds and projects to which you can donate. These include the Annual Fund Share fund, the World Fund, Polio Plus, Disaster Response, and the many Global Grants listed in the Rotary Showcase.
The Showcase, accessible through My Rotary, presents more than 1,300 projects that are aligned with Rotary’s Seven Areas of Focus. With an increasing number of grants, Rotary members have ample opportunities to make a meaningful impact.
This year, our district has drafted 12 Global Grants with several already being approved. No other organization provides such a comprehensive array of support options.
What can you do? There are levels of giving that you can achieve and make a difference:
Become an Every Rotarian Every Year (EREY) member by giving at least $25 per year.
Give at least $100 per year to be a Sustaining Member.
You can be a Polio Plus Society member when you pledge to donate $100 annually to Polio Plus.
Pledging $1,000 per year to The Rotary Foundation allows you to join the Paul Harris Fellow Society.

The District Rotary Foundation Chair and his team have been busy with District Club grants, scholarships to District Students, Global Grants to projects that are co-sponsored with international clubs and districts and Polio Plus. The Rotary Foundation Annual Fund committee has been visiting clubs and presenting programs about the Foundation. Without your support, District and Global grants, District Scholarships, and Polio Plus advancements would not be possible.
