What country is home to the world’s tallest waterfall?
South Africa
United States
Venezuela
Norway
The world’s tallest waterfall is the stunning Angel Falls, in Venezuela. With a height of 3,212 feet (979 meters) it is as sublime as the name suggests, although its moniker comes, not from the heavens, but from the American aviator who first flew over it in 1933. The falls are located deep in the jungle, making them difficult to reach, but those who make the trek are rewarded with stunning vistas. To give you a sense of just how tall Angel Falls is, the rather hefty Niagara Falls is nearly 20 times shorter.

Global Partnership for Education Teams Up with Rotary to Advocate for Education
Rotary’s relationship with the Global Partnership for Education is already having an impact, as incoming district governors learned at the International Assembly in January. “Together we are changing the lives of girls and other vulnerable children in the poorest corners of the world,” said Alice P. Albright, the organization’s chief executive officer, in her remarks about the relationship, formed in April 2020. “Rotary has a unique voice and standing on the global stage and in virtually every country. You can use that voice to advocate for more resources and then work with government leaders to ensure that they are distributed equitably.” To continue reading link herehttps://bit.ly/3F20k9F
