5:32 p.m. A canyon resident woke up to find two horses grazing in their backyard.
10:35 a.m. A man who stopped traffic in order to help move a turtle out of the roadway was told not to do that again.
11:24 a.m. Dogs with a history of killing pet rabbits were found sniffing around a neighboring hutch.
12:09 a.m. An ice machine vibrated a ceiling tile loose, which tripped the motion-sensor alarm.
2:34 p.m. A large black dog was keeping pace with traffic along the highway.
4:09 p.m. Someone wanted to report that a dog bit a toddler three weeks ago.
4:29 p.m. A man made it out of a grocery store with a whole cart of groceries without paying.
4:56 p.m. Someone was using a drone to watch the neighbor sunbathe in her backyard.
8:08 p.m. A woman was huffing canned air outside a gas station.
9:10 p.m. Someone was concerned the loud noise they were hearing was an oncoming tornado.
10:06 p.m. A car full of high school or college kids was sheltering from the hailstorm in a car wash drinking Smirnoff.
8:09 a.m. A young man was fast asleep in the lilac bushes.
8:42 a.m. After reporting an assault, a woman asked if officers could hold off on arresting the person today because she needed them to watch her kid.
1:59 p.m. A man was upset that he had not been contacted about the theft of his dog at a Motel 6 last year. It was later learned that he had given the dog away while intoxicated.
4:28 p.m. A woman hanging out in the clothing department of a store was getting “itchy.”
3:36 p.m. Some housekeepers entered a hotel room to find a canister of bear spray had been deployed.
4:45 p.m. “Aggressive driving issues” were reported in the Costco parking lot.
5:00 p.m. A man sleeping at the corner of an intersection asked the officer that woke him up if the medics could come and look at his fungus.
