SherryT's Bar Rescue TV special will air on Easter evening via the Paramount Network. She is hosting a watch party at the Airliner starting at 7PM. The bar will be open, bring your own snacks. Everyone is welcome to attend.
Late arrivals included GeorgeM, SandyS, SherryT and CoryG.
SAA Patti fined everyone who voted in the recent election, which was literally every one of the 17 members in attendance.
Lunch included chicken teriyaki smothered in diced tomatoes, mixed veggies, rolls, salad, cake and s'mores.
The $172 50-50 rolls after Prez Bill and LoriP pulled cards not called the joker. MarkSm won the scratch-off.
Opening duties were covered by CoryG, DaveA and MarkV.

JAMBALAYA DINNER
We will be serving our Jambalaya Dinner on Saturday April 26th from 4:30-6:30 at the Keasler Rec Center on 3rd street. Dine in or carry out.Tickets are $10 in advance, $12 @ the door. Your ticket gets you an order of Kyndra's jambalaya (smothered pork, smoked sausage, Cajun holy trinity, serviced over rice) cornbread, strawberry crunch cake and a drink. Tickets will be available this coming week. Proceeds will benefit Riverbend autism programs. It's flavorful, not spicy!

The Four Corners in the southwestern U.S. is made up of, appropriately, four states: Arizona, Utah, Colorado, and New Mexico. There is an official monument marking the intersection of these states, the only place in the country where four different states meet. Despite its relatively remote location among Navajo and Ute reservation land, the Four Corners is a popular tourist attraction.

PaulH was the last to arrive, LoriP didn't arrive at all.
The WR Trivia Night was a success. PaulG's table won the tiebreaker. Thanks were offered to these worker-bees-ScottL, TommieM, JohnP and MikeK.
EA-WR Junior Rotarians Haley Kerpan and Blake Marks dined with the WR club.
It was announced that RodC and MarkV had merged their accounting practices.
BillP had to beg MarkSp to fine him.
Happy Fines were paid by TommieM and MikeK.
Baseball Mania tickets were still being sold.
SandyS offere a shameless plug.
JeanK failed to claim the $55 WR jackpot. The $147 EA jackpot met the same fate. SandyS and SherryT did claim the scratch-off.
PaulG fined everyone who watched the terrible first three games of the Cards vs Pirates series.

SPRING TRAINING BOOSTED BY YOUTHFUL ENERGY
District 6460's Spring Training, held March 15 in Springfield, was invigorated by the presence of students from the District's Youth Exchange and Interact programs. Witnessing their eagerness to learn and contribute was a powerful reminder of Rotary's enduring mission to cultivate future leaders.
At lunch, all attendees heard from district exchange students. She spoke of profound personal growth and the enduring bonds of friendship forged across continents.
With tears streaming down her face, Julia expressed her boundless gratitude to Rotary International, emphasizing how the Youth Exchange program had shaped her worldview and ignited a lifelong passion for service. Throughout the day, these young minds brought insightful questions and a unique perspective to discussions, demonstrating a genuine desire to make a difference in their communities.
"Their energy was contagious," said Beth Allen, District Youth Exchange Committee chair. "Let's not underestimate the impact these students can have."
Julia's heartfelt testimony served as a powerful reminder of the program's profound impact, and how Rotarians can embrace the opportunity to support youth, to mentor young students, and to actively support the next generation of global citizens.
