What a long, strange trip it's been...
As I was saying...
This was supposed to be the April 4th issue, after our two week Covid-19 cooling off break. So much has changed...
On Thursday we moved our weekly social gathering from ZOOM to JJ's private room. It was soooo nice to see 13 fine Rotarians semi-socially distancing chatting like magpies and 3 Zoomies. Kinda felt like old times, kinda.
We hope that several of our members who have not surfaced during our pandemic recess are doing well and hope to see their smiling faces soon-Ty, Pat, Darren, Nate, Allen, Erin, Dick, Laura and Patty.
MarkS, BradP, Sherry and Sandy were the first to arrive. Paul arrived @ 12:19, old habits die hard!
Thanks to BradP for handling the streaming duties.
MarkS had the distinction of being the first to arrive and the first to depart. Something about attending a "special event".
Wendell reminded everyone to remove your mask before drinking.
Is your AC temp set lower than Sandy's? I think not.

Rod reminds everyone that the new tax deadline is coming up on the 15th. He observed that the same people that have trouble making the April deadline are having trouble with the new deadline.
Virgil tried to buy everyone's lunch, or was it just a misplaced decimal point.

Withlacoochee is the name of two separate rivers in the state of Florida. One of these rivers is located in central Florida, while the other is located farther north. The central river is known as the “Crooked River,” alongside which is the longest paved rail-trail in the state — the 46-mile-long Withlacoochee State Trail. Originating in the Green Swamp and taking a couple of turns before heading northwest to drain in the Gulf of Mexico, this river is said to be named after the northern river of the same name. Stretching 115 miles, the northern river originates in Georgia before flowing south into Florida, where it only flows a mere 1.34 miles before returning north.
