EP!C representative , Hilary Charlet, spoke to us about the services her organization provides to developmentally disabled people. The organization began in Peoria in 1950 and now has an additional office in Swansea. The primary focus on EP!C (Empowering People. Inspiring Capabilities) is job placement/training and host family services.
It really didn't feel like a Thursday...12 members braved the brutally dry conditions and resort-like mid 50's temps to dine on Christmas ham, whipped taters w/ country gravy, Rotary g-beans as part of a green bean casserole (a 70's flashback), rolls, noodle salad, lettuce salad and dessert.
Allen and Prez Brad were the early birds. Post-nooners included ChrisH and BradP.
Let's recognize these club anniversaries-Alex-1, Dave-12 and Cory-14. Well done!
Joe returned Cory's lucky golf cap, from last spring.
Even though JJ's now serves weekend brunch, Allen is quite happy with Pam's home cooked meal selection. Prez Brad wants to know if she delivers?

ChrisL reports that the basketball tournament will not happen this year. Maybe a 1 day shoot out??

After Cory's win from two weeks ago, the $3 jackpot was ignored by Bill and ChrisH. Paul may have had more success with the scratch-off.

MarkS served as sub-treasurer.
MarkA introduced his daughter and son-in-law, Jessica and Nate Swenson.
Nate and BradP both wiffed on the 50-50.
BradL and Rhonda were suggested as prez-elect nominees.
The basketball tournament was scheduled for February 18th.
