WHAT ARE WE HAPPY AND SAD ABOUT THIS WEEK?
 
JAY: ($2) looking forward to seeing granddaughters new home on way to Cape. Also went to Lake Quinsig and was amazed at the "shacks" that surround the lake. Breathtaking.
JIM F: ($1) happy that family was here and had a great Labor Day!
STEPHANIE: ($2) had an awesome time at the District Rotary Orientation dinner last night. Also just celebrated a birthday on 9/3!
JIM H: ($1) Steeler's are going all the way this year - no question.
JOAN: ($1) Care Initiative meeting last night with Deb L. There have been requested items added to the care package list.
ALLEY: ($1) happy that kids have gone back to school!
ELLEN: ($1) for having a wonderful visit with son and grandson. They are bonding beautifully.
MICHAEL: ($1) bought new flooring and ripping up old floors. Thankful for Advil!
MICKEY: ($1) the fat lady sang when the Red Sox won in a crazy come-back last night.
LYNN: ($1) happy to be here.
ANDREA: ($2) great weekend. September is favorite month (birthday and anniversary).
JEANIE: ($1) went to the Adirondacks and when she woke up it was a brisk 47 degrees!
MADDIE: ($1) nephew's birthday this weekend. They are spending the day together.
RICK: ($2) handed out printouts of the ballot questions. Did not close the pool yet. Enjoyed a float with Sherri last night!
JOANNE:($2) she got three compliments on her work outfit. Will have to wear it more often!
ROGER: ($2) Gib came home from hospital and went to rehab. He is happy to be progressing. Also his brother is visiting from Virginia - looking forward to a visit.
LESLIE:($3) danced with Alley's kids at Dining Under the Stars in Leominster. Tried to learn "the floss" but apparently failed.
MAILA: ($1)back in the rat race now that school has begun. Meetings, sports, etc.

Quote of the Day: Life is too short to wake up in the morning with regrets. So, love the people who treat you right and forget about the ones who don't. And believe that everything happens for a reason...if you get a chance - take it; if it changes your life - let it. Nobody said that it would be easy....they just promised it would be worth it.
 
CLUB NOTES
*Visioning: may elect to do visioning over several mornings in November instead of one long night.
 
*Dictionaries: meeting at Joan's house next week to attach the stickers to the dictionaries.
 
*Membership: Jim Fusco and Rick spoke about membership opportunities and the different ways we can try to engage new members. Membership videos will be coming out monthly.
