NOTE: Until we have a more permanent home, we will continue to meet at LCU. I would suggest that we all BYO coffee and maybe take turns bringing in donuts or muffins or pastries.
This week we had 10 members in attendance in person!
Noted that all sponsorships received for the Cornhole Tournament from the Leominster Rotary club have been generously donated back to the grant project for the Twin Cities Rail Trail.
Discussed Restaurant Sweepstakes fundraiser. Details to follow next week after meeting with John Marchiony of the Wellesley Rotary club.
Conducted a board meeting - minutes to follow.
Agreed to set up a table at the Johnny Appleseed Festival in downtown Leominster on 9/24 to promote our Sweepstakes fundraiser. Will need volunteers to man the table - sign up sheet to circulate at a later date.
IMPORTANT NOTICE - as you will see in the board meeting minutes, our club is struggling financially and it is now more important than ever that our club members support our fundraising activities 100%! We will provide more details about our Restaurant Sweepstakes next week, but note that all club members will be expected to purchase or sell a minimum of 5 tickets.
