WHAT ARE WE HAPPY AND SAD ABOUT THIS WEEK?
 
JAY: ($1) grand kids are settled into their dorms.
JIM F: ($1) happy to be hosting a gathering at his home next Wednesday night. All are welcome!
STEPHANIE: ($2) happy that she is feeling well organized and that her son's orientation at Nashoba went way better than anticipated.
JIM H: ($1) going back to Saratoga!
JOAN: ($2) granddaughter started at Worcester State and she was happy to be able to cut half the grass (the top half) before it started raining!
NANCY: ($1) looking forward to going to the Cape for the week. Will be on the lookout for sharks!
ALLEY: ($2) had a great vacation in North Conway and Laconia. Looking forward to the kids starting school next week.
ELLEN: ($2) excited to find out they'll have another grandson and that she is going to the Sox game with her family!
MICHAEL: ($1) happy to be taking the family to the Sox game.
MICKEY: ($1) hopeful that he Sox win today (not!)
ANDREA: ($1) sad that Trinidad experienced a 7.3 magnitude earthquake, as she has family there.
JEANIE: ($1) looking forward to lunch with her sister on the Cape!
MADDIE: ($2) happy to have guests here, but sad that she had to take the bus to the meeting because her car is in rough shape.
RICK: ($2) closing the pool next week. Summer is almost over. Happy for Jim's explanation of the food dollars and the foundation, for the benefit of our guests.
LESLIE:($1) happy that she's feeling better after 10 days of feeling ill.
JOHN: ($2) sad that he missed last week. Teaching the kids in Mansfield has been exhausting, but rewarding. Bathroom renovations are in process. One step at a time!

Guests: Robert Benoit and Mallery Guastini of the ARC. Will join corporate membership. Robby paid $2 because he was happy that Maddie invited him and happy that school is starting soon at Assumption College, where he is an Adjunct. Mallery paid $1 because she was happy that Maddie invited her along.
 
CLUB NOTES
*Visioning: dates have been suggested. Still waiting to hear from a few people before committing to a date.
*District Grant: Checking account opened at LCU for purposes of distributing funds for our grant project.
