Inspiration:
Train your mind to see the good in everything. Positivity is a choice. The happiness of your life depends on the quality of your thoughts. Mahatma Gandhi once said, We but mirror the world. All the tendencies present in the outer world are to be found in the world of our body. If we could change ourselves, the tendencies in the world would also change. As a man changes his own nature, so does the attitude of the world change towards him. This is the divine mystery supreme. A wonderful thing it is and the source of our happiness. We need not wait to see what others do.
Board of Director's Meeting:
Will be held the 2nd Thursday of the month.
President's Message: Michael Caslin
On this date in 1208, Francis of Assisi received his vocation in Portiuncula, Italy. St. Francis was a very humble man who took a vow of poverty. He helped the poor, fed the hungry, and tended to the sick. He gave hope to many in his community and inspired the world to do the same. St. Francis once said, where there is charity and wisdom, there is neither fear nor ignorance. Rotary holds true these values today and extends these virtues to communities around the world.
Yours in Service,
Michael
Last Week's Club Meeting:
Alley had a great idea about co-sponsoring a Red Cross blood drive due to national blood shortages. Ellen has found a location to host the event at at Lunenburg Community Center. Thank you Alley and Ellen!
Alley had a great idea about starting a Kid's Closet service project. We could raise money to purchase clothing items for children in elementary schools who may be in need of warm socks in the winter or clean clothes if there is an accident, like spilt milk. The children can take these clothes home and keep them. Thank you Alley!
Alley is saving and storing plastic bags to help protect our environment. Alley is offering to store anyone's recycled plastic bags for the same cause. Wachusett Area Rotary Club is sponsoring a Plastic Bag Recycling Program on Saturday March 20th from 10am ~ 2pm at The Draught House (The Manor) at 44 West Boylston Street, West Boylston. Their goal is to collect 500 pounds of plastic bags to create 1 park bench from Trex recycling. Thank you Alley!
Leslie brought forth which was passed to support 2 students for RYLA. Thank you Leslie!

I need to call Linda at least 1 week ahead of our pick up date to give her our final order count. Thank you Alley and Neil!
