Mike is the Zero Suicide Initiative Coordinator at Heywood Hospital as well as a fellow Rotarian!
He gave us a high level overview of some of the training programs that he offers for suicide prevention and awareness, Narcan use and overall mental health. Mike provided a lot of scary statistics surrounding the increasing numbers of suicides each year and some ways we can do our part to help.
We are looking into a possible partnership with Mike to provide a training session for our club and the community!
