Montachusett Area Rotary Club
Continuing decades of service to our communities!
Hello Rotarians! I thought I'd have a little fun with an imagination based weekly bulletin. We need to keep our spirits up and our wits about us right now, as best we can. Here's what I imagined for each of you this week...
For starters we ALL donated to the food pantries and foundation - Leslie please take note.

Alley:  Having a blast working from home and keeping my new "co-workers" from killing each other. Rationing food because who knew a 9 year old could eat 13 Oreos for one snack. Sorry teachers, no more common core for my kids. They're learning to carry the one!

Andrea:  Trying to keep my sanity and my job at the same time! Little one used all the stockpiled toilet paper roles to build a fort. Please send help.

Ellen: Ever the optimist, trying to stay positive. The seniors at my facility have taken to card games in the dining room. They're sitting 6 feet apart and using their canes to push their hand sanitizer ante into the pot.

Jay: Grandkids are having a tough time with the quarantine. Too much time on their hands...it's only a matter of time before one of them announces another great-grandbaby on the way.

Jeanie: Thank GOD for Leslie. I was getting down to only 15 rolls of toilet paper left, and was hesitant to go out. She "found" a bunch more at a house she was showing.

Jim F: Sorry I missed the meeting, have been in meetings all week trying to come up with a contingency plan. My white sneakers are now in quarantine and I can't leave the house without them.

Jim H: Don't worry guys, even though the gym is closed, we are still waking up earlier than GOD himself and going for a walk at Doyle every day that it's not raining or snowing.

Joan: I don't know where it's better to be quarantined, near the ocean or near the lake!

Joanne: Some people on a cruise ship are having a crappy time? Do tell me more!

John P: Weird times people. No competitions, no parades, no customers in my lobby. I have found myself with a lot more free time, I guess another home project is in order!

John R: Took my girlfriend out for dinner last night. We got takeout and sat in separate cars to eat. Talked to each other on the phone. She gave me a bottle of Lysol. I love her.

Kelley: Running low on coffee and wine. Not prepared for this lifestyle. Please send help.

Leslie: Aruba was on. Then it was off. Then it was on again. Now it's off again. I can't even think straight. I have to go into people's homes and brave the potential germs! On the bright side, I don't have to touch all the dirty money at Rotary.

Lynn: If you guys need me, I'll be on my lawnmower!

Maddy: NO SPORTS?! It's going to be a long month.

Maila: Softball is postponed. What will I do with all this spare time?!

Michelle: Tony is driving me crazy. He's hoarding spam and paper towels.

Mickey: Baseball is postponed. No Yankees. Aye dios mio!

Mike: DON'T LOOK AT YOUR STOCK PORTFOLIO...PLEASE FOR THE LOVE OF GOD, DO NOT!

Nancy: Dougie doesn't want to quarantine. He's in the window yelling at the kids who keep riding by on their bikes. Offering to trade toilet paper for Twinkies.

Rick: Quarantine? Limited contact with kids? It's a dream come true.

Roger: I was just getting the hang of this apron, now I'm going to have to re-train my brain!

Tony : Insert toilet paper joke here.
