Kathi Wright provided an update on multiple items
  • RYLA (Rotary Youth Leadership Academy)
    • Interview for Young RYLA (8th graders) and Senior RYLA (high school) has gone through their interview process and attendees have been selected.
    • Young RYLA is looking for senior female counselors for the last two weeks in July.
  • The “renewed” Holiday Winter Council
    • An artist display is planned for the Lagoon area and lighting and displays are planned for the south shore of Lake Loveland.
    • Plans are being developed, and RFP’s for artist participation will be sent out by the City in the near future.
  • Community Building Restoration (Downtown Pulliam Building)
    • Kathi reported that construction has begun  on the Community Building
    • Kathi is available to provide tours of the building.   Contact her at kpermasmile@gmail.com
if you are interested in taking a tour of the building as it is being transformed.
  • The Foundation continues to raise funds for the transformation and the City has agreed to match the funds the Foundation raises.   Contact Kathi if you want to assist the Foundation in fund raising.
  • Summer activities at the Foundry
  • Blues music the last Friday of each month
  • A Farmers Market every week
  • Outdoor movies
  • Music  on Wednesday nights
  • Additionally, there will be music at the Lagoon on Thursdays
  • The Foundry movie theater and hotel are scheduled to open in July 2019.

• Mark Weiman celebrated that his family celebrated his daughter and son’s birthdays at Black Hawk last weekend and walked away with some extra $$.
• Doug Rutledge celebrated that he is being honored with an American Institute of Steel Construction Association Lifetime Achievement Award at their upcoming convention.
• Kristi celebrated completing a Moab bike road trip and getting snowed on during the trip.
• Jeff Allen celebrated his trip to Sweden and Copenhagen and visiting a Rotary Club, leaving behind one of our Club flags with the host Club.

• Al asked for thoughts and prayers and encouraged donations for those affected by the Nebraska floods.
