Thompson Valley Rotary Club hosted its annual "Changing of the Guard" ceremony at the Donahue's home, celebrating the end of Ramin Rostampour's presidency and welcoming new co-presidents Kathi Writght and Aaron Barrett. The event featured great food, drinks, fellowship, and scenic views of Lake Loveland. Mark Haenny was honored as Rotarian of the Year, and members reflected on the past year's successes while looking ahead to continued service in the new Rotary year.

Thompson Valley Rotary Celebrates Leadership Transition with "Changing of the Guard" Ceremony

 
Thompson Valley Rotary Club gathered for a special evening on the shores of Lake Loveland to honor the close of one Rotary year and usher in a new one. The annual "Changing of the Guard" celebration, held at the Donahue's home, brought together members for a night of recognition, delicious food and drink, and stunning lake views.
 
The evening marked the conclusion of Ramin Rostampour's dedicated term as Club President. Ramin was recognized for his steady leadership and the numerous accomplishments achieved under his guidance over the past year. In his place, the club welcomed incoming co-presidents Kathi Wright and Aaron Barrett, who will lead Thompson Valley Rotary through its next chapter of service.
 
One of the highlights of the evening was the presentation of the Rotarian of the Year award, which was given to Mark Haenny for his outstanding contributions to the club and the Rotary mission. His service exemplifies the Rotary spirit of "Service Above Self".
 
As the new Rotary year begins, members look forward to building on the momentum of the past and continuing to make a positive impact in our community and beyond. With a shared enthusiasm for what is to come, the Thompson Valley Rotary is ready to embark on another meaningful year of connection, service, and growth.
