Paterson Rotarian Sandra Bosque joins District's Ukraine Gift of Life

Going to Ukraine even during war time will always be the greatest adventure of my life - to visit my Mother’s homeland made me feel close to her

 

But the reason for the trip was for Rotary. The Ukrainian Gift of life was started many years ago by George Kuzma . 12 doctors were sent to ChIp ( children’s hospital of Philadelphia ).  But it took many hands and many clubs to bring this vision to fruition

 

Children in western Ukrainian Lviv have the facility to heal heart defects. I went representing the Paterson Rotary, also attending were George Kuzma the president of Ukrainian gift of life from the mid Bergen rotary club, Roman from the Colorado Rotary Club, Forrest from the Fairlawn Rotary Club and our great Dr. Issenberg from Westchester and Rob Raylman the CEO of Rotary International Gift of life.
