Welcome to another issue of our biweekly bulletin! Find out who our upcoming speakers are, what we covered during the last weekly meeting, and our up coming events and fundraisers!
CLUB ANNOUNCEMENTS: 
 
  1. Invocation: Florine White/Salute to Flag & Song (God Bless America): Art Scialla
  2. Moment of Silence in Memory of Former Mayor Pat Kramer: A poem in his memory read by President Bonnie Miele & a short biography of his life by Art Scialla
  3. Happy Rosh Hashanah 9/15 (a time for introspection, renewal, and anticipation of the year ahead)...Yom Kippur 9/24 - (a day of atonement - the holiest day of the Jewish year).
  4. See below for upcoming events!
  5. Our next Rotary lunch meeting will be September 28th. Sandy Bosque has returned from her trip to the Ukraine...Sandy will give a presentation on her trip at our next luncheon Thursday 9/28. Please be there at 12:15.  $25 a person unless you've paid your dues,  Then you get the first ten free.

Biography of Kathy English:She is the Director of Special Events & Communications at the North Jersey Friendship House. Prior she held the position of Director of Management & Services at the Friendship House since February 2007. Kathy has a wealth of experience in Leadership roles across industries such as hospitality, home furnishings, & non profit organizations....Their Mission at Friendship House: to build the skills of individuals with varying abilities and developmental needs by providing within a safe haven, comprehensive clinical treatment, vocational training and work opportunities in order to achieve meaningful and productive lives. (A video was also viewed by all in attendance).

We are thinking for all of our members, family and friends who are suffering an illness or other adversities especially  Tony Pecci  (now back home and receiving physical therapy) and Gloria Counsellor. We are reminded to think about our brothers and sisters in Ukraine.
