Salvation Army Prepares 225 Thanksgiving Baskets

Rotarian and Milford Salvation Army envoy, David Irwin, reported today that the Corp is distributing 225 turkey and grocery basket's between yesterday and today. Great job by that organization. Irwin expressed a thanks to all the volunteers that showed up to help and for individuals and businesses who donated food and money for the Thanksgiving Campaign. Unfortunately, donations were a little slow coming in and they had to buy 51 turkeys to meet the need which puts them a little behind for Christmas turkey baskets.
