Today we learned about the passing of our good friend and follow Rotarian "Jim" Kellett II. I thought it might be nice to pop back in our achieves and share some of things Jim accomplished during his active years in Rotary.

Jim joined the Milford Rotary Club in January 1987 only a few months after I (Tom Sawyer) had joined) Jim was immediate and amazing asset for the club as he dove into a variety of club activities including the annual swim program.  During his time with Rotary, Jim served also as a community service leader, including heading up the clubs annual Red Cross drive held at the Congregational Church in Milford that often processed as many as 100 pints of bloods. Kellett received the club's President Award for community service in 1992 and was on the club's board of directors until 1993. He also served as the club's membership chairman for a number of years. Kellett was named a Rotary Paul Harris Fellow in May of 1992 and continued to support the Foundations efforts for many years. Jim was a true Rotarian in heart and action and it was a pleasure to have the opportunity to work with Jim. He never lacked enthusiasm.
