Justin's blessing

Dulce is getting Justin ready for mass at Saint Joseph's here in East Rutherford. So that they can sleep late, I am taking them to the 10AM mass. Also, a choir sings at that mass. When mass was over, I asked Father Zachary Elliott if he would bless Justin. I explained that he was going to be operated on.  He was happy to do it.

After Mass I took Justin and Dulce to Holy Cross Cemetery in North Arlington to visit my wife.  Dulce was amazed at the size and beauty of the cemetery. For your information, there are over 160.000 people buried there.

We returned home around noon and had some lunch. Then Dulce's father called.  He has been calling two or three times each day, and so does her husband, Danny.  We received approximately eighteen phone calls today. Two of them were for me.

I have a terrific DVD of New York City.  Dulce and Justin watched it for hours.  Ann McVey called and said she would be over to keep Dulce and Justin company.  Lillian called to inform me that she was making meatballs and pasta for me; nothing for Dulce and Justin.  At about seven o'clock, all hell broke loose.  We had seven visitors loaded down with food.   They heeded my message, remember when I said if you bring food be prepared to eat with us; and they did.  I have had more Honduran food in 3 days then I had all my life.   And let me tell you, everything I've had was good.  One more thing about Justin, he may be small, but he doesn't stop eating.

Keep Tuesday open.  I want you all to meet this little guy.  You'll love him.  By the way, I think I am buying a guest book.

Yours in Rotary,

John Koch
