It's Monday morning, and a beautiful morning, the sun shining, and a bit of a chill in the air. I made a couple of inspections, and then stopped at the housing authority to drop off some muffins for the office and tenants in the building. I talked to Lillian for a few minutes. Most of the conversation was about Justin and how well he is doing, commenting on his progress - Sunday night standing and walking, then by 1:30PM transferred from the ICU to the 8th floor. I left the office to complete a few more inspections, and then decided to return Bob's call. It was near noon; Bob suggested I join him and another dentist for lunch. While at lunch we also talked about the progress Justin was making. I told Bob I was going to take a ride over to the hospital when we finished eating.

It's now 1:30. I decided to take Broadway to the hospital instead of the Deagen. There is no traffic, and am enjoying the ride. My cell phone rings. I pull over and answer the phone. It's Dulce, and she wants to know if I am coming to the hospital. I said yes and asked why. Did she need something? She told me Justin got a "clean bill of health" and was being released from the hospital. Five minutes later I receive a call from the nurse and she tells me the same thing. I told her I'm about ten minutes from the hospital.

When I arrive, Justin is sitting up with that beautiful smile as if to say, "I'm ready". By the time we were ready, Dulce signed all the forms and was given prescriptions. It was four o'clock. The ride home was good, not a lot of traffic, and Justin fell asleep.

Right now it's 12:30PM they are both sleeping. I forgot to tell you Madeline and

Chuck gave Justin a toy doll that everyone who visits has to sign.

Dulce said all the tests taken by Justin came out good. "That man upstairs" - nooo, not the one on the 10th floor..

If Justin and Dulce are up to it, I may bring them to the meeting.
