The Rotary Club of Fair Lawn has been active in our Fair Lawn community since 1948. You’ve seen our signs announcing the time, date and location of our weekly meetings; you’ve seen the Rotary logo all over town – the new clock in front of the library, the old bulletin board in front of the high school; on the “adopt a park” sign at Beaver Dam Park; and inlaid in pavers are Memorial Park as well as other places locally, regionally and internationally.

So who are these men and women that volunteer their time to serve those in our community? Who are these people that travel around the world to fight polio and drive across town to help their neighbors in need?

Our fourth installment of this continuing series brings us to Bruce Rosenberg, a practicing attorney for the past 25 years, currently with Winne Banta Hetherington Basralian & Kahn, PC of Hackensack.  Bruce resides in Fair Lawn with his wife Martha and two sons.  As a father, Bruce’s top Rotary activities are the Annual Spelling Bee and Pedals for Progress.  He also enjoys our weekly lunch meeting where he can catch-up with fellow Club members; which is important as one of the main reasons for his joining Rotary is for the camaraderie experienced by all Rotarians.  Bruce also joined for the opportunity to participate in the many philanthropic activities undertaken by the Club locally, nationally and internationally.  Another reason he enjoys our weekly lunch meetings is the educational information shared by our weekly speakers.  Each week, Fair Lawn Rotarians are treated to speakers of a variety of topics and we all come away with an appreciation of what happens right in our town as well as internationally.

Outside of Rotary, Bruce enjoys travelling and hiking which is a great lead in to his map collecting hobby.  As an attorney, Bruce appears to prefer e-mail over snail mail and is a disciple of Apple - preferring MACs and Iphones.
