Dear Friends of Rotary and Fellow Rotarians,
The COVID-19 Pandemic continues to affect our communities locally and globally.  Fair Lawn Rotarians continue to “Lend a Hand to Those in Need Around the Corner and Across the Globe” during this crisis.  We have been and will continue to be there for our first responders, students, Seniors, Fair Lawn Food Pantry, Maurice M. Pine Public Library, and others in need during this time.
Due to safety precautions, Fair Lawn Rotarians have decided to cancel the 2021 Annual Beefsteak and Tricky Tray, our largest fundraising event that normally takes place in early Spring, as well as our 50/50 drawings.
Fair Lawn Rotary is an integral part of the Fair Lawn community and is dedicated to continuing its mission of “Service Above Self.” Rotary has likely touched your life through our many community programs:
  • Assisting FLHS Seniors through scholarship awards for continuing education
  • Providing FLHS Juniors the opportunity to attend RYLA, a program where they can hone their leadership skills
  • Providing school supplies to Fair Lawn children in need – even while attending school through a hybrid model
  • Gifting thousands of dollars to Front Line workers at 4 local hospitals with food from local Fair Lawn establishments and gifting several hundred dollars’ worth of gift cards to the Fair Lawn Food Pantry to help the growing number of people in need
You can see our presence throughout Fair Lawn:
  • We established the Rotary Grove Seating area, with a Flagpole and chess tables at Memorial Park
  • Erected clock in front of the Maurice M. Pine Public Library and donated the large world Globe inside
  • Constructed the pergola at Fair Lawn High School and donated the football scoreboard
  • We are currently planning an outdoor seating area at the library
  • ….and many other gifts to the community!
Globally as part of Rotary International, Fair Lawn Rotarians are at the forefront of combating polio, assisting emerging communities with clean water and proper sanitation to help improve their health, collecting bicycles and sewing machines providing transportation, mechanical, business, and other skills.
To continue all our good work, we are asking you, our friends and supporters, for a donation to replenish our funds to secure a long and bright future for our nonprofit foundation.  With your assistance, Fair Lawn Rotarians will continue to improve the lives of our students, local emergency, and community organizations, and make Fair Lawn a better place to live.  Please consider a donation of any amount to The Rotary Foundation of Fair Lawn Inc.  Donations can be mailed to the Foundation at PO Box 831, Fair Lawn, NJ 07410 or you can easily donate via
On behalf of those we serve as Rotarians, thank you for your consideration and your current, past, and future support.
Yours in Rotary Service.
