Birthing Kits

On Tuesday both Rotary Clubs are getting together to make a start to the Birthing Kits by folding the Black Plastic sheets and cutting the string.

Once again this year the Rotary Clubs of Whyalla and Whyalla Norrie will be putting together the Birthing Kits - the picture is from the last Birthing Kits we did.

Birthing Kits are an internationally accepted intervention to support a clean birth. Each item in the BKFA Birthing Kit works to reduce infections at key high-risk moments of care during labour, birth, and immediately post-birth for the mother, newborn, and birth attendant.
