WOW    WOW    WOW   Great excitement with our first-time Online auction. Such a great success story   FULL CREDIT to our amazing Auction Project Manager, Rtn. Megan Phillips-DuBois, who has single handedly got this off the ground, and with such finesse.  Quite a time consuming job, preparing all the pages for all the items on our facebook pages, in the midst of managing her work and family commitments.   This new way of raising funds for our community projects, particularly at this time of year, looks like a real winner in lots of ways!   CONGRATULATIONS Megan for sowing the seed for the idea, and making sure it has flourished.     Read more... Bushfire recovery Project for Kangaroo Island   Rotarians, Partners and friends,   Please find attached (Refer 'Read More' below) information from a couple of DGs Newsletters regarding the Bushfire recovery efforts on Kangaroo Island  with Rotary through RAWCS. It will give you an insight to what has been happening and what still needs to happen to assist those impacted. For new members that is an acronym for Rotary Australia World Community Service. (Disaster relief in our own country, as well as helping people overseas).   Juri Berzins is undertaking a leadership role in helping to gather up a possible team from our club, and maybe from our community, to participate in this recovery project.
