The Delphi Rotary Club welcomes new member Bill Maynard!  To learn more about Bill, read on...

Greetings fellow Rotarians!  I've been asked to give you a "quick" snapshot of myself so you can become better acquainted with my background and family.  I have been a resident of Carroll County for the better part of 19 years.  I was born in southeastern Iowa and moved to Delphi in 1991. I graduated from Delphi Community High School in 1996 and after a short stint at Purdue went on to receive a Bachelor of Science from Southeastern University in Lakeland, FL majoring in Business Management.

I am married to a beautiful and amazing woman, Angela Maynard, and we have two amazing children, Drew (age 4) and Tyler (age 2).  In my spare moments I enjoy spending time with my family, working in my yard, jogging, lifting weights, playing golf and coaching my sons in the plethora of activities in which they are involved.

Over the past 10 years of my professional career I have had the privilege of working in a variety of management/leadership roles in manufacturing, wholesale grocery, church leadership, and insurance.  This diverse background of experiences has given me the skills to connect and relate to a variety of people and causes.

One of my most enjoyable tenures was when I had the opportunity to serve my local church as its full-time student ministries director. It was during this period of my life that a passion for meeting both local and global needs began to grow.  My wife and I have had the honor of going across the world in an effort to impact social, physical and spiritual needs.  We've touched down in areas such as Belize, Jamaica, Scotland and India.

I am currently a self-employed career agent with American Family Insurance specializing in home, auto, business, life, and health products and can honestly say that I have one of the best jobs in the world!  My office is located on the north side of Lafayette but have activity all over Carroll, White, and Tippecanoe counties.  I look forward to serving the needs of our community and world through Rotary!  Onward and upward fellow Rotarians!
