2010 Delphi Legends Basketball Game

The 2nd Annual Delphi Rotary Alumni Legends Basketball Game will be held Feb. 20 at 2 PM in the Delphi High School Gym. The game is for Delphi Alumni (girls & boys) who graduated at least 10 years ago (class of 1999-youngest class) & THE WHOLE COMMUNITY TO COME & WATCH!.

There is no fee to play, however there is a $10 fee for your team jersey/t-shirt if you do not have one from last year.  There is a $5 admission fee for adults & $2 for students to come watch the old-timers in their best shape!  This fee also covers the Delphi v. Pioneer JV/Varsity games later in the evening!  This is sure to be a fun exciting afternoon & evening!

All community members near & far, past & present, as well as all Rotary Members are encouraged to attend this big, fun community event/fund raiser! Please help spread the word to everyone you know, including old coaches, cheerleaders, band members, etc. and help us pack the gym! (Delphi plays Pioneer that evening, again the admission fee will also get you into the JV & varsity games later that evening.)

Proceeds will help to support the Delphi Athletic Department & Rotary causes including Scholarships for Delphi graduates.

The gym will open at 1 PM for shoot around and camaraderie. After the game there will be food provided in the Commons area & possibly oxygen. :)

Last year this event drew 25+ participants from up to 30 years ago and many fans including a couple of alumni cheerleaders! The odd year graduating classes handily defeated the even year graduating classes. Who will take the crown this year? A 3 point contest will be held at halftime. Last years finalists were Kyle Wagner & David Wood, with Mr. Wagner winning the event.vBulletin analytics
