President Carol opened the meeting and called on Karen Moore to handle the invocation, pledge and Four-Way Test.

Kyle Zenkner introduced our guests and visiting Rotarians.

Happy Dollars were collected by Cole Springer.

Rebecca Borneman and Larry Rankin led us in a rendition of “Singin’ in the Rain,” with new lyrics written just for our NOAA program.

Mark Fore and Jennifer Swenson sat at the Head Table this week.

Carol shared with us that Eric Powell and his wife were at the hospital during the meeting. We learned later that they welcomed Ava Faith Powell to the family at 12:32 pm that day.

Carol also reminded us to sponsor or sign up to volunteer at our annual big event, Spring Obsession. It’s March 14 this year, and features all things gardening, art and music. Scott Reed has sign-up lists at the back table, so pick your slot. And she thanked the newest sponsor, Allen & Co., along with our title sponsor Pre-Con Construction. Carol also asked all Club members to donate $50 or more to finish off our drive to raise $25k for the two giant slides at Bonnet Springs Park. Make checks payable to Spring Obsession Inc, not Rotary. It’s fully tax deductible. You can pay at the back table too.

Alice Hunt introduced our program, which was an update on NOAA with Lt. David Keith. Learn more about NOAA’s mission, including their Hurricane Hunter flights, here.

50/50: Matt Schichtel handled the cards and Jim Russell drew a 2.
