The student teams from Liceo de Puriscal IB School – Costa Rica - and Harrison High School will be rehearsing their project with us on Thursday, Feb 28th between 2:00 pm and 2:30 pm. You are invited to attend and observe. The session will take place online and will be in the main dining room of the Lone Tree golf club. Straight after our lunch meeting. So we will see and hear the students on our large projection screen and they will also be able to see and hear us. The students will present their project to our team of RCHR WAC judges, and then our judges will make comments and ask questions of the students. This is a team rehearsal, prior to the WAC event, which will be taking place on Saturday, March 2nd. Please remember that you are also welcome to attend the actual event as a spectator; see ww.worldaffairschallege.org for more info. Please stay on after lunch and join in the fun. N.B. please note that in order to avoid any conflict of interest, our RCHR judges will NOT be judging these two schools at the actual event.
Friendship Dinners - Jan Selinfreund
If you have never hosted a friendship dinner PLEASE consider hosting a friendship dinner in April. Basically you decide how you want to handle it such as sit down dinner, buffet or heavy appetizers. We have 2 hosts to accommodate 26 guests for 4/13. We need hosts for 4/6. How many people you can accommodate. Would you like to include kids or no kids? In the past some hosts have opted for a theme, one did a murder mystery night. Of course you do not have to plan anything as it does give the guests a chance to visit & get to know someone in our awesome club whom they haven't really gotten to know before. We are all one club (Sunrise and Noon), different meeting times. Thank you again for considering hosting & let me know your thoughts and any questions you may have.
NCOA Golf Tournament - WE BROKE RECORDS! This year we will provide or support ALL of the golfers! From Jan & Jerry, "For the first time ever we have sold out the Golf Tournament by ourselves. A record amount of golfers, 25. A record amount of sponsored Military, 51, for a total of 76. We can't thank the club enough for their incredible support. We have never received this much support before. The Military Committee & those committed to the NCOA are so appreciative. The Club is the greatest!"
