CLUB NEWS
The Bright Futures Benefit is Saturday, have you checked out The Auction Site? Fred Erb shared the following information. Auction site URL is https://HRRF19.givesmart.com. You are able to view the auction items without registering but if you want bid on items before the event you will need to register.  It will be helpful for you to register before the event to help avoid a backup that evening. Remember to bring your fully charged mobile phone to the event.  For those without a "smart" phone there will be GiveSmart staff on-hand to help you.
You will need to register if you want to start bidding before Saturday night. Registration requires that you enter: your name, mobile #, email, and physical address. You will provide your own password. If you want to bid on items before the BRIGHT FUTURES BENEFIT, you will need to enter your credit card information. The price shown for each item is the starting bid price, not the cost of the item. Do not share your login link with others (unless you want them to use your credit card!)
The auction is hosted by GiveSmart,  https://HRRF19.givesmart.comClick on the provided link, register for the event, view the items, and begin bidding. After you register, you will get a welcome text message. You may bid using the following methods: Smartphone - Click the link in your registration text. It will take you to a personal bidding page. Click on an item and place a bid, it’s that simple. Text - Text the 3-digit item number and amount to the welcome message you receive, (i.e. 101 500), no dollar signs or decimals are needed. Computer/Tablet -
Click on an item and place a bid. “Personal Shopper” - Find a GiveSmart staff member at the event. They will be happy to place your bids for you. Please share this link with your guests. Contact Fred with any questions.
It's final: Bill Simmeron is our President-elect nominee and Ari Block will fill Tami's Director term.

Donna Ralston from the South Metro Medical Equipment Loan Closet spoke to us in the past and shared the following invitation to attend their Open House to be held Sept. 17 from 5-6 p.m. at their facility at 825 S. Dallas Ct, Greenwood Village 80111. "We felt it important to invite all of the Rotary groups that have supported us to come and see for yourself what we do and how it all works. Light refreshments will be served and we would like you to meet some of our loyal volunteers." Directions:  from I-25, go East on Arapahoe Road to Dayton St. Turn south (right) and go to the end of the street. The Greenwood Village post office will be on your right. Turn right on to Costilla, then immediately right again onto S. Dallas Ct. It looks like an alley or warehouse area. We are 2/3 of the way down the alley on the left. Our logo is on the door.
