Sue Bramley - Taking Better Club Photos
A few to-dos to remember when taking Club photos: must be high resolution; ensure it's an understandable activity with 2-3 people wearing Rotary apparel that aren't posing; show diversity, movement, and animation; and, no frontal of children's faces without photo release.
Photos are stored in a drop box initiated by Phil; instructions to post are in the Club Runner under Member Area then View Club Documents and finally, "Drop box login instructions"

World Affairs Challenge - Phil Calderbank
This year’s final of the World Affairs Challenge took place on Saturday March 2nd. Our club provided 9 judges and we sponsored a joint team, which consisted of Liceo-de-Puriscal from Costa Rica and Harrison High School from Colorado Springs. The event had taken a year to plan and it was the first time that a team from overseas had made it to Denver .Thanks to funding from RCHR Foundation and to some generous members, we made this trip possible. As many of you know, the team placed 3rd in the overall event. This was a great achievement as all team planning and preparation was done via Skype. I am pleased to say that Harrison High is now planning to send its students to CR in the summer and that the two schools have now agreed to twin. Thanks again to all of our judges and supporters. The students were fantastic, I was so proud of our Club, and we all had a wonderful time. Pictures show the teachers, our judges and supporters and the Students – just after they had made their presentation. See you next year!

Tickets are going fast for Joshua Station's 13th Annual Spring Theater Event!
It will be a great evening to show your care for families who have experienced extreme challenges of homelessness, but now are rebuilding their lives with supportive housing, empowering programs, and a vibrant experience of community. You'll enjoy this year's performance of "Beehive"; it's an uplifting, high-spirited tribute to the songbirds of the 60s, including Diana Ross and many more. You will also enjoy marvelous food, a silent auction, and fun live fundraising together. 100% of the evening's proceeds go to support their families. Young Rotary - Bill Medlicott
ThunderRidge has a PeaceJam Club of about 30 members. About half of them are involved with our Peaceful Schools program. I have run this for 4 years now and I feel the students, the kids at Eldorado and the teachers all enjoy and appreciate the monthly visits. Today we had 13 students (best ever) come to visit three 1st grade classes to read books and do activities concerning bullying, self confidence, attitudes, feelings and emotions. Everyone benefits from these activities.
