Charter/Purpose: The Highlands Ranch Rotary Foundation, Inc. is a Colorado 501(c)3 Nonprofit Corporation. The Foundation is managed by a six-member Board of Trustees. The Board of Trustees responsibility is to manage funds generated by the club’s fundraising efforts and to make decisions regarding providing support to local, national, and international charitable causes which the club members and the Foundation Trustees believe to be worthwhile.

The major income source of the Club Foundation is the annual Bright Futures Fundraising Event. The Board meets on a regular basis and discusses the results and monetary status of each of approximately 35 projects. New project proposals must be presented to this committee and approved and funded before it proceeds.

Projects: The Highlands Ranch Rotary projects are managed by the Foundation in 4 main categories. The projects of this Foundation vary each year. The following are a sampling.
