About Us

The Rotary Club of Austin NXNE is involved in numerous activities through our leadership and connections within the community. Our foundation, which contains our scholarship fund, helps both college-bound and vocational-technical students achieve their educational goals. We are an active participant in many community service projects, both in terms of fundraising and hands-on service projects.  One of our biggest projects is Rise Against Hunger, which we have been involved with for several years. Rise Against Hunger is growing a global movement to end hunger by empowering communities, nourishing lives, and responding to emergencies. Each year between our club packs up 10,000 nutritious meals that are shipped to needy areas around the globe.   We are also contributing to numerous local non-profits – all with the goal of positive change both locally and globally. These are just a few of the significant ways in which the members of our club live Rotary’s motto of “Service Above Self”.  We hope that you will consider joining the Rotary Club Austin North by Northeast to help make a positive difference in our world.   Our club meets regularly on Wednesdays for lunch at Casa Chapala Restaurant, 9041 Research Boulevard, Austin, TX 78759 at 12 noon, and most of our meetings feature a guest speaker.
